Pingtan comprehensive experimental area is located in eastern Fujian province and the nearest island county of Fujian and mainland to Taiwan.
This study guiled the concept of low-carbon development, coastal resort, creative base etc. The plan created an integrated industrial system with modern eco-agriculture, fishing industries and service industries. The positioning of eight key development categories included high-tech industry, modern service industry, new energy, ocean development and so on.
Through the urban design of the key area, the plan provided the future city image and development blueprint and the development prospect of the future island new city.
