The site is located in the south of original Yong River New District with a total area about 18.90 square kilometres.
The high-tech industry development is the strategy of the new district. With the concept of ‘the city revitalization with industry, industry promotion with urban development and a new district creation, the plan integrates production, study, research, residence and business. The innovation refers to high-value-added economic activities rather than general low-value-added production activities.
