This project focused on the analysis and research of the existing situation and feature elements of the site, and combining concepts of dynamic regional project development. The aim was to guild three levels of landscape feature planning including overall feature guidelines, featured area guidelines and key areas feature design.
The project vision included port/city/land coordination, functional integration and scene comprehensions, an ecological garden-style livable city, workable and a tourism-friendly blue leisure city of modern vitality.
The project goals relied on ‘River-lake-sea’ featured water network and ‘Land-village-city’ fine ecological base to build Tongzhou Bay New District into a characteristic seaside new town of vigor and modern fashion with ecological prominence, low carbon intensity, healthy and livable and unique characteristics. The plan will offer e an integral part of the urban landscape of Nantong Jianghai.
