Mina Al Arab is spread over a beach front strip and a group of islands in Ras Al Khaimah, only an hour from Dubai. This unique development provides a mixture of leisure and holiday recreation activities, various themed resort hotels and two eco-hotels, in addition to a cluster of 3 500 residential units. The site has been carefully designed to avoid development on an area of tidal flats to the north that are home to an eco-system of important avian and marine flora and fauna. These areas have been incorporated into a conservation zone. This move reflects the growing consciousness of environmental issues in the Gulf.
